Looking for a font that is in between Gotham Book and Metropolis Medium

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help me out. I really like the look of Gotham Book, but when printed at 12pt I find that it's slightly too thin. On the other hand, when I try something similar that is a bit thicker, like Metropolis Medium (https://www.1001fonts.com/metropolis-font.html) I find that it's slightly too thick! ☹️

Does anyone know of a font that looks very similar to Gotham Book, but has a thickness that is in between Gotham Book and Metropolis Medium? I find that Helvetica has roughly the thickness that I'm after, but it doesn't look anything like Gotham. ☹️

Please see attached image for an idea what what I mean.

Thanks in advance,

Alan

Thanks Ralf. I tested Montserrat, but I find that the letters are slightly too wide compared to Gotham. Also, similar issue with thickness (regular slightly too thin, and medium slightly too thick).

I also tested some fonts suggested by AI (Univers, Gill Sans, Myriad, Roboto, Proxima Nova, Vision, Avenir, Nexa, Open Sans), but either the font doesn't look close/good enough, or the thickness still isn't right.

I don't mind paying for a license. It's hard to find a really perfect looking sans serif font that can compete with Gotham. ☹️
