Need help with a Typography question

What were some of the first classical fonts that were optimized for the computer?
I cant seem to find the answer anywhere so I was hoping someone here would be able to help me out thx

Srry, let me be more clear. 

What were the first fonts that were not designed in the age of the computer to be transferred onto the computer. Make sense? :)

And if you think of regular desktop computers, it’s still tricky. The computers of the 1980s had just simple fixed-size pixel fonts, which could hardly look like “classical” fonts. So the fonts were actually embedded in the printers(!) like the Apple LaserWriter. Those printers used classical fonts:Screen Shot 2016-09-22 at 11.44.48.png
