Printing

Featured Replies

I started my document out as 10x12 and now its in Picas. so when I go to print it says the "document" is 60p0 x 72p0 and then underneath it says "media" is  51p0 x 66p0. I opened the doc up with acrobat and seen that part of the edges get cut off. How can I fix it so that it prints at 10x12 without any cuts?

Those calculated values in the print dialog are based on the selected printer and the selected paper size. Make sure both are set correctly and the printer is able to print that size from edge to edge if necessary.

Personally, I hardly ever use the print dialog in apps like InDesign or Illustrator, but export to PDF and print from Acrobat Reader. It’s much more convenient and has simple settings to print in the original document size or scale up or down if necessary.
