How do you classify the typeface Transport?

Is it a ‘humanist sans’ (see the lowercase "a, l, t") or a ‘neo-grotesque’?

For what is worth, Wikipedia classifies it as “grotesque”, but also “mixed” and “signage”.

The latter seems to me the most relevant in this case.
