New videos about the Monotype machine and the Type Archive collection

There’s no discussion about the significance and impact of Monotype in the history of modern printing and movable type. An institution of astonishing importance without question. I am however worried that Monotype is becoming the Adobe of the typography industry. It’s even latent in the company name that they are on the verge of becoming a monopoly. It’s not healthy that one entity has this much power and influence over a single market in my opinion. Hats off for their merits of yesteryear, but I hope they are stopped before ruining the market for us all.
