    Introduction

    Today, everyone is a typographer. Billions of people now own electronic devices and can use fonts everyday. Choosing fonts is just one of the many aspects of typography, but of course it is an important one. The font choice defines the appearance of your texts and your design as a whole. So much so, that some people even seem to think that the word “typography” is a synonym for font choice.

    Whether you want to create logos, corporate designs, websites, flyers, books … this course will teach you the skills to select the right font for any project and how to mix fonts where appropriate. This will be done by going step by step through all the visual, technical and legal considerations to make when choosing and pairing fonts.
