7 Days, 7 Participants. The typography summer academy at Pavilion Press Weimar in Germany.
Spend a week in Weimar with other typography enthusiasts and designers, working under expert guidance with the treasures of the Pavilion Press. We will explore the design of historical type specimens in the extensive collection of the Pavilion Press and subsequently develop type specimens for chosen fonts from the Pavilion Press collection. The work can be done using the letterpress technique exclusively or further processed digitally using a laptop brought by the participant.
