I'd be grateful if someone could identify the font used on the buttons in the attached images.

What are we seeing there? When was that made?

I don't have the full particulars as I'm inquiring on someone's behalf.

I gather the date is circa 2004.

I bet it is a custom job by the manifacturer, not a retail font.

Two possible alternatives:

• Handel Gothic
• Orbitron

You may be right about it being a custom font. Your suggested alternatives are pretty good, I think.
