Suba Teacher Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 This text serif comes from "Revise the Psalm," a recently published book of essays about poet Gwendolyn Brooks (1917-2000). Absolutely gorgeous in print. Thanks to anyone who can name it for me.
Solution Riccardo Sartori Posted August 9, 2017 Solution Posted August 9, 2017 It looks like Cambria: download at MyFonts
Suba Teacher Posted August 10, 2017 Author Posted August 10, 2017 I see the similarities to Cambria, but the sample font is less angular. Most notably, its periods are round whereas Cambria's are square.
Ralf Herrmann Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 Well, no. I agree with Riccardo. It’s Cambria.

Printing conditions always influence the appearance of a font. In any case, Cambria is also used in their e-zine (and embedded in its PDFs).
