Boniface Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 Hello all: I have this cool album by Gerardo Frisina called "The Latin Kick": great jazz, bossa nova music. I love it and I'm wondering which font was used. Please see attached the picture of the album cover (I owned the record but found this photo on-line). I hope someone can help me to find out the typography used. thanks in advance for your help and best regards B.
Kevin Thompson Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 I found other images of the album online, one of which included a credit for the design (and a website URL for the designer), but the image was too blurry to make it out clearly. Could you check your copy of the album and post that information here? So far, no luck IDing the typeface, but it was used for the track list on the back of the album as well.
Riccardo Sartori Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 I didn’t find a match either, but will drop a few links (in no particular order) to typefaces that may be or may be not considered similar: https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/bluevinyl/left-hook/ https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/madtype/bulletin/ https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/capearcona/ca-hail-to-the-king/ https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/pintassilgo/sunbeat/ https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/typodermic/chinese-rocks/ https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/kustomtype/burlesk/ https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/typodermic/warugaki/
Boniface Posted March 5, 2020 Author Posted March 5, 2020 Good morning: Thanks a lot for your help. Best B.
