Tandberg Logo from 1970s

Hi All,

I have been trying to identify the font used by Norwegian hi-fi company Tandberg from about 1974-1978. This font is probably a custom design used purely for their logo as other methods to identify it have not come up with anything. The scan was taken directly from a piece of hi-fi equipment and is a a bit soft and rounded off due to some processing.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think it’s a custom logo, possibly based on an horizontally stretched Univers Condensed.

Possible alternatives may include: URW Linear (rounder, lack horizontal bar on |G|), Grange (wrong |G|).
