BukowskiVenom Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Herman's World of Sports was a sporting goods store that was very popular in malls throughout the 70's, 80's, and early 90's. They went out of business in 1996. They had these amazing colorful bags with a unique font that captured the time period between the 70's and 80's. I have done some research on the main font finder sites like What Font.com or Font Finder.com with little success. Different websites give different results and then maybe only a few of the letters look like a match. The letters will also have small differences like angled tops on the lower case "e" as opposed to rounded on the bag. I have a feeling this means it might either be a custom font or a mixture of a few different fonts. I am posting here in the hope that there might be a true font name or also the names of mixture of fonts.
Kevin Thompson Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 Owes a definite debt to Futura Black, but so far no luck finding a name. 1
