Identification of font on historic building (BRITISH DOMINIONS HOUSE)

I am looking for the font that was used for the lettering on this iconic building that states "BRITISH DOMINIONS HOUSE". The building was constructed in 1920 for the British insurance company British Dominions.

Architectural lettering, especially at the time, is not based on printing typefaces, so you will not find a perfect match.

There are a number of condensed serifs (or condensed widths of serif families) that could fit, but the details will be off (example).
