Vicky Donachie Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 Hi Hoping someone can help. I am designing some wedding stationery for a client & they emaild me some photos of an invite, they received, as they liked the typeface used for the first names "Lucy & James". I don't know who designed this invite, I literally just have jpegs for the typeface. Should I not be able to find the one used I've found some that are similar in places & the client will have to make do (they probably won't notice). I have tried the What the font app but it doesn't recognise letters. Happy with either commercial or free font results. Thank you in advance
Riccardo Sartori Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 Looking at the variations (especially in the date), I think it most likely is hand-drawn, not a typeface. There are many similar scripts, perhaps you can find something suitable in places like Creative Market.
Vicky Donachie Posted April 30, 2021 Author Posted April 30, 2021 Thank you. Yes I did wonder if someone had handrawn it. Fortunately I have some typefaces of a similar style so hopefully they will be suitable. Again Thanks!
