gmad Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Brathwaite designed his poems using Mac system fonts in the late 80's/early 90's (either from system 6 or 7). I've scavenged through old Apple users manuals and haven't been able to find it. Please help! Would love the name of this font. Don't necessarily need a digital version of the font; a font that closely resembles it could work too. Thank you!
Riccardo Sartori Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Sorry I couldn’t be of help. It surely isn’t a system font. Possibly a Brathwaite’s original creation (see also “Finding the Self in Font: The Poetry of Edward Kamau Brathwaite”).
gmad Posted October 29, 2021 Author Posted October 29, 2021 Thanks for trying @Riccardo Sartori! Anything come to mind that loosely resembles it?
Ralf Herrmann Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 I would consider the option just to replicate it—as it’s just pixels. https://fontstruct.com 1
gmad Posted October 29, 2021 Author Posted October 29, 2021 @Ralf HerrmannI forgot about Fontstruct! Excellent idea. Thank you...
