Typography.girl Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Need help identifying both the fonts used on the Harvard diploma! Thank you!
Ralf Herrmann Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Your sample seems to fall into the category of legal documents (passports, certificates, receipts, court papers and so on.) There might be perfectly good reasons to ask for a font identification, but there is also always the danger of supporting forgeries through our help. Therefore we kindly ask you to explain in more detail why you need an identification of these fonts. 1
Riccardo Sartori Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Additionally, both (or at least the cursive) seem to be lettering, not typefaces.

I recently ran into Mark Zuckerberg's instagram post about how he went back to get his honorary diploma in Harvard and saw him holding the diploma;I thought the old style gothic font and the script looked very beautiful! Hence I wanted to know what fonts were used; I'm no where near the United States and I'm very interested in typography. You can check my post history, nothing is shady. Even if you do help me identify the font, I probably can't afford the licenses for it either. I enjoy typography and I just casually wanted to know what font was used here, no malicious intentions or ulterior motives. It's okay if this website doesn't want to help me for safety purposes, I understand. 2
