Serif body text typeface from Law & Order (1990) television series opening titles

Law & Order produced by Dick Wolf for NBC in 1990.  Opening titles sequence created by Betty Green with the Howard Anderson Company.  This appears to be a scan of a news article or legal document. 

 

I am attempting to identify the typeface before printing and reproduction gave it the distressed appearance.

Seeing the variation of the letters, I would say, this is indeed an image of something written with a typewriter; or possibly a print out. That said, the most similar typeface I can find is: Worldwide.
