heffron Posted January 18 Posted January 18 This is from an old flyer - would love some insight on the provenance / foundry / typeface or designer. Thanks!
Ralf Herrmann Posted January 29 Posted January 29 It’s fonts. Ferrara is a version of Columbus. Digital versions: https://www.myfonts.com/collections/cristoforo-font-softmaker https://www.fontspring.com/fonts/preusstype/colombo
heffron Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 sorry, not 'ferrara' - i'm curious about the PASTIFICIO type
Solution Ralf Herrmann Posted January 30 Solution Posted January 30 Okay, this was time-consuming as there was no reasonable way to narrow down the search. But I could identify it as Moderne Versalien by Bauer. A digital version is Sveva. https://www.myfonts.com/de/collections/sveva-as-versal-font-astype/?tab=glyphs Don’t get confused by the glyph variations. All the letters are there.
