Font identification: Stravinsky Book, 1936

Hi all, Can anyone help identify this font used on a book about the composer Stravinsky? Really struggling to find something that matches closely. Any help or thoughts  would be very much appreciated! Many thanks!

The thin letters are probably hand-lettering turned into a printing block just for this book.

If you run the image from your first post through the WhattheFont service, you get some pretty good results.

What’s the goal? For something like a reprint, I would just digitize the original design. If you just like the overall look for an unrelated project, it would be a matter of taste which of the similar designs suits your needs. That’s why I didn’t want to pick.

Mark Simonson's Mostra Nuova Thin has a very similar vibe, and with a bit of tweaking could approximate your sample.
