Nikki Office Posted June 28 Posted June 28 Hi, A yard sign was installed in 2015 (attached photo) to our church and we are looking to create new sign panels, but we can't find the font anywhere. It is supposed to be called "Aion Oron". The company that created the panels has changed ownership and can't help us.
Solution Kevin Thompson Posted June 28 Solution Posted June 28 Your sign company didn’t quite get the name right—I found it as Rusagion Oros XHR, Agion_Oros_XHR (1994), and as ALBXHR Normal (a revision? from 1997). Seems to have been designed by I.M. Grhgorioy. Unfortunately, not finding a trusted download or purchase site. Do a Google search on the first two versions of the name, and proceed with caution. 2

Nikki Office Posted June 28 Author Posted June 28 Agion Oros (Άγιον Όρος) is the holy Mount Athos in Greece and the creator I.M. Grhgorioy is possibly one of the monasteries there "Ιερά Μονή Γρηγορίου" to use in their foreign language publications. It is fitting that a Greek Orthodox Church would use a font created in Greece by an Orthodox monastery. I was able to find and download the font. Again, thank you so much, Kevin!
