DomesticGeek Posted September 18 Posted September 18 A local business is having an ad in a publication I am working on. This sign was made for them over a decade ago and the signmaker is no longer in the area, or I would have reached out to get the sign file. Is the Witts part a font? I'm sure I can find something suitable for the Heating & Air part, but I'm not having any luck with the script. I'm also not in a position to get a better picture of the sign, unfortunately. Thanks in advance if you have any ideas.
Solution Kevin Thompson Posted September 18 Solution Posted September 18 I found a close match (the W on your sign has one small edit) in one database that identified it as FHA Heavy Sign Script by the Fontry (released in 2000), but no luck finding corroboration of that ID or a download/purchase site for it yet.
Kevin Thompson Posted September 18 Posted September 18 The Google web font Molle is quite similar (and open source). For the other two lines, Antique Olive would be a decent substitute (artificially condense it for the bottom line).
Kevin Thompson Posted September 18 Posted September 18 I’ve found some sketchy download sites that have a less well-drawn version named LHF Heavy Sign Script. Another option for Witt's is Casey, if you mix and match the styles to use the W from the Classic weight.
DomesticGeek Posted September 19 Author Posted September 19 Thanks for your help. The first one you mentioned definitely seems to be it. Shame its not available anywhere. I'll see if I can talk them into using Casey - I like that one.
