misterbrettc Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 Hi all. In the picture attached is the label of my grandfather's surfboards he used to make in Geelong, Victoria, Australia back in the mid 1950's to mid 1960's. I need to reproduce the label on one of his original surfboards and to do so requires me to identify the fonts used. I'm hoping someone here can help me out. Thank you.
Solution Riccardo Sartori Posted June 7, 2018 Solution Posted June 7, 2018 The script looks like Glenmoy.
misterbrettc Posted June 7, 2018 Author Posted June 7, 2018 Thank you so much Riccardo. I don’t suppose you have any idea on the bold font below too do you?
Riccardo Sartori Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 The closest I can find is Cheltenham Extra Condensed Bold. 1
Ignacio Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 And for “Phone”, if you need it and that’s what is “printed”, you could try Grotesque Bold Extended, but just gambling here. 1
misterbrettc Posted June 7, 2018 Author Posted June 7, 2018 Thank you all so much. I really appreciate your help 🙂
