"TEL" Book Cover Font From 1997 (Two Arabic Folk Tales)

From a book cover I really enjoy printed in 1997, from "Two Arabic Folk Tales" by T.E. Lawrence. 

Specifically, from this link:

Closest I can find is Hoefler Text or Athelas. None of the fond identification sites can nail it! It's the flared bottom of the "T" that really seems to set this apart. 

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance!
