Looking for Appalachian style fonts or identity of sample

Hi, A friend is opening a store in Pigeon Forge (Smoky Mountains) and is looking to evoke an Appalachian feel with their signage. I have found several samples online that conform to a similar look. They all seem to have small "wings" on the lettering. Does anyone recognize what this could be or have a recommendation of a similar font? Preferably free or low cost. Would be commercial use.  Many thanks in advance!Apptrail_full.thumb.jpg.bc65476ad45e8318aa253a07e94542a1.jpg

The technical term for those “wings” is median spur....

Thanks Kevin! That is helpful. I knew there had to be a term to describe it.
