GastricArt Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 Hello! I'm currently searching for the font used for the "1971" in this college seal. I was tasked to figure this out since this seal was outsourced long ago and we only have eps files with outlines. I tried searching on my lonesome and using various font identification sites but came up empty handed. It does not have to be a free font. Help is appreciated. Thank you!
George Thomas Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 It is very much like Bauer Bodoni Oldstyle Figures but the versions I have, the figure /1 doesn't match. 1
Gecko Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Lots of foundries in many different countries have had a go at Bodoni. Try looking at ITC Bodoni Twelve 1

It appears to be the font that I am looking for, with changes to the horizontal scale. Consider my problem solved!
