Can Anyone Identify this Serif Face? (La Danse D'Aujourd' Hui)

I came across this image online - it has no further context that I can find.  I really like the serifs and the cap E.  Does anyone recognize the face?

This is the source. It’s a book cover from 1929. 

This was probably specifically drawn for the book cover – especially the E with the elongated crossbar. 

But if you like the style, try Trajan and alternatives.
