Numbers on footballers's shirts

Hi There, does anyone know which font I see on the back of footballers' shirts in the seventies? I absolutely love the sight of those numbers, but there is almost no information on the web on this subject. Cheers, Marco

Those weren’t fonts in the sense we intend today.

You could try to get in touch with Christoph Koeberlin. He already published a vintage football jersey numerals font, and hinted at more styles.
