Company Broadway Musical

This is the logo for the original 1970 "Company" Broadway musical. Any chance this is a font? I'm also curious to know which font they used for the subtitle "A Musical Comedy." Thanks for any help.

I very much doubt it’s a font.

That said, there are innumerable experimental typefaces in a similar style. Here’s a couple of links to start exploring: on Fonts in Use, on Identifont.

As for the subtitle, it could be some version of AG Book Extended.
