Bruce Moody: Fresh Out font

My current record company is wanting to create a new CD using the font from one of my old records.  I no longer have the original proof and I am seeking to locate the one we previously used or a very close substitute.  The original cover for Fresh Out! was created in 1981 by Richard Paul Thompson's advertising company in Houston, Texas that I contracted with to prepare the cover.

I would deeply suspect that this is lettering you probably want some kind of marker pen, or brush font two examples amongst many are Lucky Fellas  & Freeland.

Have to agree with Greg—given the age of the original and that I am not finding a match anywhere, I suspect it is lettering, not a typeface.

You could want to look for keywords like "brush", "ink", "Japanese ink", "Chinese ink", and perhaps, as Kevin's suggestion exemplifies, also "horror".
