Guest Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 I am looking for the font found in Winnie The Pooh (1977 movie). The movie shows the pages of a book and this is the font used in the book shown in the movie Here is the link to the movie's wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Many_Adventures_of_Winnie_the_Pooh
Riccardo Sartori Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 Unfortunately, the sample is too small and fuzzy to distinguish the typeface’s features.
Solution Ralf Herrmann Posted March 26, 2019 Solution Posted March 26, 2019 If I had to guess, I would say I spot the typical characteristics of Baskerville when looking that the “a”. download at MyFonts 2

Yet the spur (heel?) of |b| isn’t very visible. By the way, the words blowing in the wind above Pooh are in a different typeface (some sort of Garamond?).

This is the one I am most interested in. It definitely looks like Garamond but the "a" is slightly different.

The low quality of the image and the fact that the text definitely wasn’t set with a digital typeface make it impossible to find an exact match. A similar effect could be achieved with an “antiqued” cut: download at MyFonts Or with a version with condensed styles: download at MyFonts
