BrenFunk Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 I am trying to identify the font "MAESTRI" (maestro) is set in. This comes from the cover of an Italian version of Joan of Arc (Giovanna D'Arco) written by Hilaire Belloc and published by Edizioni Paoline in 1962. I am looking for a digital version. Commercial fonts are fine. If possible a free alternative would be great, thanks.
BrenFunk Posted July 31, 2019 Author Posted July 31, 2019 Not helpful. A suggestion for an alternative or something in the ballpark would be welcome.
Solution Riccardo Sartori Posted July 31, 2019 Solution Posted July 31, 2019 Similar contrast and shape of |A|: Priamos. download at MyFonts 3
Stephen Coles Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 If you enjoy the squareness of that ‘S’, you might like Nickel. 1
