melg Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Hello, I've been trying to identify this font, and I think I've finally figured out that it's Kievit, but what about the 'o' with the decorative line underneath? Is that part of the font (a special glyph or alternate?) or do you think it was custom drawn? Thanks in advance for any answers and/or ideas! :)
Riccardo Sartori Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 It’s not Kievit (look, for example, at |F| and |R|): download at MyFonts The blunt edges remind of the ubiquitous Brandon Grotesque (but it’s not). That |O| could be an alternate character (I have seen similar ones), or just something created specifically for the logo.
DePesando Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Try 'Merel' by Northern Block. I'm not at a work terminal so I can't check - but it looks close enough, the underscore 'o' is probably created specifically for this usage.
Riccardo Sartori Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Yes, Merel is also close, but not quite it: download at MyFonts As a bonus, it offers a |№| with a underlined |o|: download at MyFonts
Solution Gizzmo Posted August 9, 2016 Solution Posted August 9, 2016 Agenda by Greg Thompson looks very close. http://gregthompson.typenetwork.com/news/article/whats-on-the-agenda https://store.typenetwork.com/foundry/gregthompson/fonts/agenda 1
