Marcus Shaw Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 I'm looking for the Sports Specialties Script font. You can see a picture of the font on the NBA snapbacks at the link below. thanks in advance http://agoravintage.blogspot.com/2011/09/concise-history-of-sports-specialties.html
Ralf Herrmann Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 Can you link the image directly? I don’t know which of the many images/fonts you mean.
Marcus Shaw Posted November 23, 2016 Author Posted November 23, 2016 Below are two direct links to the image. thanks again... http://www.sneakercritic.com/golden-state-warriors-mitchell-ness-nba-relay-script-snapback-front/ http:// http://www.sneakercritic.com/chicago-bulls-nba-script-mitchell-and-ness-snapback-with-green-under-visor-bill-1/
George Thomas Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 First link is not a font; second link does not work.
Marcus Shaw Posted November 23, 2016 Author Posted November 23, 2016 I'm not sure what you mean. I'm trying to figure out what font it is. Are you saying the font was never available online or any font catalog. Below is another example of the the font. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/550776229408214255/

Looking at the Knicks’ and the Kings’ caps it seems that there is a shared alphabet, but given the age of the samples, the means of reproduction, and, for example the different connection between |ar| and |or|
Marcus Shaw Posted November 23, 2016 Author Posted November 23, 2016 I just want to know what font it is if there is a name.
Solution Ralf Herrmann Posted November 23, 2016 Solution Posted November 23, 2016 9 minutes ago, Marcus Shaw said: I just want to know what font it is if there is a name. If someone has written those letters (technique: “calligraphy”) or drawn those letters (technique: “lettering”) just for a logo, which is often the case for such sports team names, then there just is no font and no name of a font.
