Tom Carnase pronunciation?

I’m working on a video about Avant Garde Gothic and already found hints about how to pronounce Lubalin, but what about “Carnase”? Is the stress on the first or the second a? Is the final “e” pronounced (like in Adobe) or not (like in chase)?

I did it, I bravely activated my Flash plug-in 😉, and can confirm that it should be Tom Carnase’s website.

I'm pretty sure it's "car-nay-zee", accent on the 2nd syllable.
