Tamara Posted July 11, 2020 Posted July 11, 2020 Hi! I need to add the archer numerals to a business card but I cannot get the numbers to all sit on the base line. I have tried using Caps to type the numerals but it wont work! Please help!
Riccardo Sartori Posted July 11, 2020 Posted July 11, 2020 Apart for the expected overshoot of the round glyphs, they look aligned to me.
Tamara Posted July 11, 2020 Author Posted July 11, 2020 Hi Riccardo, Thank you for your response. The sample image is what I need to achieve. Attached is the font in its current state.I have tried a few variants of the Archer font. These do not sit on the base line.
Riccardo Sartori Posted July 11, 2020 Posted July 11, 2020 Ah, OK. It looks like Archer has old style numerals as default. How to activate lining numerals depends on the program you use.
Tamara Posted July 12, 2020 Author Posted July 12, 2020 Hi, yes it has. I am using Corel Draw and illustrator to try and figure this out. I have tried converting the numerals to Caps and it has not worked...
Ralf Herrmann Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 For Illustrator: Of course this assumes that you use a recent OpenType version of the font, not an outdated PostScript Type 1 version.
Ralf Herrmann Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 I don’t have a recent version of CorelDraw but it seems to be in the Object Properties Panel. The cursor is on fractions, but the button left to it should be the figure style.
Tamara Posted July 12, 2020 Author Posted July 12, 2020 Hi Ralf, thank you for the response! I have just done that in Illustrator. Thank you Riccardo and Ralf for your assistance! 😀
