Andrew of GG Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 I am new to this amazing site! But I am not new to computers and word processing - I started with WordPerfect 5.0 for DOS on floppy discs, that’s how old I am. And at some point I had a method, perhaps a macro, of creating a document which consisted of all the characters available in every font on the computer I was then using. I have recently upgraded my Mac to Catalina with all its new fonts, and I would like to create that document again. Can anyone tell me how? Thank you all! Andrew
Ralf Herrmann Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 Open the FontBook app in the Applications folder Select all fonts* Press CMD + P or choose “print” from the file menu if you don’t see the Report Type menu, choose Show Details Select Repertoire in the Report Type menu Pick a glyph size Print as PDF or via printer *) Depending on your Mac and the number of fonts installed it can be quite resource-intensive to select and print all fonts at once. If that is the case, you might want to only chose smaller sections of your font catalog. 1
