Maxius Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Hello, I have problem with one of Google fonts - JOST. It's a really nice font but in Chrome-based browsers (including Chrome) it misrenders one letter - ū / Ū. The accent is moved right for some unknown reason. Have any of you any idea why this is happening and most importantly how to fix it? The website is located here if you can take a look 🙂
Ralf Herrmann Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Given that it can be replicated on the Google fonts website in this but not other (variable) fonts, I would suspect a bug in the font. Not sure there is anything you can do as the font user other than reporting the issue. You could try to find/use a different version, e.g. not the variable font. 1
Maxius Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 Can you go a little bit into more detail about what is not a variable font?

They just need to learn about the bugs. 1
Maxius Posted February 22 Author Posted February 22 Thank you for compiling the lsit of contacts, I indeed wrote him a letters with all my findings and hope for the best. Infact when I used another version of the font from his site - old bug was fixed but introduced a new bug on a different character. 🙂 I bet all will get sorted out soon.
