Haaam Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 I have been asked to replicate this logo from an embroidered shirt and need to identify the typeface. Its currently in use but the company have no online presence at the moment. Any thoughts on the closest free type would be very gratefully received. Thanks
Kevin Thompson Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 The process of embroidering tends to distort letter outlines, making an ID difficult. For CSS, Greta Sans Extended Semibold is similar, as is Aeonis Bold Extended. There is even less helpful detail in Group (we have the base shape, but few outline details); perhaps Trivia Gothic Extended?

Keeping in mind what Kevin already said, "CSS" could perhaps be approximated stretching Verdana, while "Group" has similarities with Franklin Gothic and its relatives. Neither typeface is "free", but they can be found already bundled with most operating systems.
Haaam Posted November 19, 2018 Author Posted November 19, 2018 Thanks - all really helpful. - Will investigate.
