FrankC Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Hello, A webdesigner here that would like to make a logo himself but has little experience in it. I'm looking for a font type in which the left leg of the A and right leg of the W are exactly parallel. It must be pixel perfect, because it (AW) may end up on a huge billboard, inside a parallelogram. Is there such a font?
Riccardo Sartori Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 There are, but my advice would be to sketch the logo beforehand in order to have a better idea of what kind of font would be better suited for the task: style, width, weight, and so on. Then, if you don’t feel confident enough to draw the logo from scratch, you can start from a typeface where |A| and |V| have parallel slopes (of which there are many more to choose from) and easily construct the |W| from two |V|s.
