AndersForsberg
So yeah, I'm at a loss... I'm trying to recreate an older (80's) instruction manual for a watch I own. Purely for personal use, by the way. Would it have been available through Ebay (or such), I would have much rather gone down that route. Anyway... As you can see in my attached pic, the original is to the right and my 'test' is to the left. It seems that the 'ascenders' (is that the English term for it?) are taller in the original, and the letters are less closed than in my Avant Garde-example. Among a couple of other, smaller, differences. Anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance! Link to comment
Solution George Thomas Posted July 3, 2016 Solution Share Posted July 3, 2016 The original is Futura. 1 Link to comment
AndersForsberg
Damn, that was fast! ...but yeah, I did get it after looking around a bit more. Can't believe I didn't get this sooner. I was just so 'set' on it being Avant Garde, that I couldn't see anything else. After doing the post here I did decide to look some more and tried Century Gothic and Futura (which is right). Thanks a lot for helping, though! Link to comment
