Suggestion on script typeface

Hi there!

I am looking for a script typeface to be paired with Fago (both sans and serif) for a personal project. It should recall the line drawn by a pen and not by a brush, and, in the meantime, should be very legible and contemporary. The idea is to use this script typeface "on a second layer" to be added over the one using Fago and representing the thoughts of an artisan.

For now I've found this one, but I'm not that satisfied about the "z", which I find too long and not that legible (I would like it to be as high as the "x").

Perhaps Nick Cooke’s Rollerscript.

Or Tomi Haaparanta’s Suomi Hand.

Although, Rollerscript seems to be a little too thin than what I am looking for, and Suomi is not as legible as I would need my font to be, with the letters blending into one another.

Are there other similar typefaces coming to your mind?

How about 3 Island Press's Professor? It's clean, contemporary, and has some great standard ligatures. The full character set image on their site doesn't show the extended-latin glyphs and other OT features, for some reason. Here's the rest of the glyphs in the font:
