filip blazek Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 This topic was imported from the Typophile platform Hello, my friend designer works on a corporate identity for a large client. They decided to use Georgia as the alternative typeface family for office use. Could you please recommend me a compatible Arabic typeface available as a system font on a Windows platform? Thanks.
filip blazek Posted May 16, 2011 Author Posted May 16, 2011 I search for typographic compatibility, an Arabic font you can combine with Latin text set in Georgia. Is there a list of Arabic fonts available in Windows XP / Vista / Seven?

froo Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Midan, Sada (Seria), Nassim - they aren't close matches, but always...
Bahman Eslami Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 personally I prefer Karim Lt, because it has a relatively High contrast compared to Georgia, though they have very different atmosphere, Georgia is modern, but Karim is generally based on traditional calligraphy. But they could work together.
froo Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 What about Mitra? The typeface is less calligraphic than Karim, but still holds the traditional shape.
