Maxim Zhukov Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Socialist or not, beautiful or otherwise, there was in fact a typeface called, yes, Kolektiv. It was designed by a team (Stanislav Duda, Karel Míšek, Josef Týfa), hence the name. Kolektiv was issued by a Prague-based type foundry Grafotechna in 1952. And in case you are curious, yes, there was a Cyrillic version of Kolektiv.
