Member aba…
This topic was imported from the Typophile platform Crafting Type is coming to Portland! A 3 day intensive class, morning to evening and Saturday-Monday, for anyone wishing to start designing type or to quickly move their existing skills forward. Instructors confirmed are Thomas Phinney, Dave Crossland and Octavio Pardo, with Eben Sorkin and Vernon Adams lined up to keep the student:instructor ratio low if a lot of people sign up. Pacific Northwest College of Art is hosting the event, and its priced low for students ($300) and professionals ($500) with good discounts for AIGA/ATypI/TUG members ($400) http://craftingtype.com Link to comment

Member Tho…
Dave forgot to mention that we are also offering that same discount for SoTA members. :) We intend to put up a slide about TypeCon and talk about it briefly during the workshop. Link to comment
Member Tho…
I just wanted to point out there has been a date change to Mar 15-17. So it is Friday to Sunday (instead of Saturday to Monday). Link to comment
Member ape…
I just signed up for this. It might be the first time I’ve invested in anything educational since, you know, college. Very much looking forward to it. Thanks. Link to comment
