I’m looking for resources on typesetting in Somali. Googling has yielded information about the Somali alphabet, but nothing on punctuation, capitalisation, spacing etc. Do you have any suggestions, online or in print?

Are you talking about Osmanya or Somali Latin?

I don't know of specific resources, but the Somali section on the PanAfrican Localisation Resource could be a place to start.

You can also try to contact the people mentioned in these articles on pan-African typefaces: Pangea (scroll at the bottom) and Questrial.

I was referring to Somali Latin. Specifically, among the things I am interested in is knowing what kind of quotation marks are used.

I also note that Indesign has no Somali dictionary (neither Western nor Middle East version). I tried downloading hunspell dictionaries from other sources, but couldn’t get them to work.
