I asked who has "been moved" to Quadratics. No one apparently.

"You really haven't heard anybody complain that working with quadratics is more of a pain?"

About four years ago, back when TT still had secret patents Apple was using to "troll" for violators (not), and TT instructions could "Bluescreen" a PC (not), and hints were an unfathomable fur ball (sure, why not), I heard that working with FL Quads, and FL Quad conversions was lees than optimal.

But that's a FontLab thing piled on an Adobe thing. Good quads are cool and give you options you never knew you needed. Besides which, getting used to Adobe technology is just not as good an idea as it used to be.
