  • Baseline | Definition and Translations

    In certain scripts (e.g. Latin, Cyrillic, Greek), the baseline is the line upon which letters (without descenders) sit.

    French: ligne de base
    German: Grundlinie

    Norwegian: Grunnlinje
    Polish: podstawowa linia pisma
    Portuguese: linha de base
    Russian: линия шрифта
    Spanish: línea de base
    Turkish: Zemin (Taban Hattı)
