    When strokes meet at certain angles, they can be designed more open, forming a so-called ink trap. This can avoid a physical or optical ink blob in that area.

    German: Tintenfalle (Lichtkeil)
    Portuguese: Incisão, armadilha de tinta
    Spanish: Trampa de tinta
