  • Point | Definition and Translations

    The point is the default unit of measure in typography, used for example to define the size of type. In digital typography the point is defined as 1⁄72 or 0.0138 of the international inch.

     

    Dutch: punt
    French: point
    German: Punkt
    Italian: punto [tipografico]
    Norwegian: Punkt
    Polish: punkt, punkt typograficzny
    Russian: типогра́фский пункт
    Spanish: Punto (tipográfico)
