  • Em (Square) | Definition and Translations

    A square with side lengths equal to the point size. The name comes from metal type where the capital letter M was commonly cast the full-width of the square blocks.

    French: Cadratin
    German: Geviert
    Italian: Quadratone
    Polish: Firet
    Portuguese: Quadratim (ou eme)
    Spanish: Cuadratín
